This is the 3rd universal socket I’ve purchased from Capri. The Chrome is absolutely delicious. The quality is second to none. I give my tools hell. These universal sockets are taking beating. For the price of one Snap On, I can buy a whole set of Capri. Can’t beat it. I’ve tried.

Capri swivel sockets are excellent. The finish has no imperfections, the size is clearly marked. Add the price point to the equation and there is no reason to pay the (in my opinion) insane markups that you get with Snap-On, Mac, Matco, or S-K.

These swivel sockets have a very nice finish on them and the sizes are stamped in nicely these worked well on my valve cover bolts

I have one complaint about these sockets but first the good. Good quality, great chrome finish, and an excellent price point.
Now for the only complaint about them and it deals with the 10mm specifically. The socket part of the 10mm is unnecessarily long. Matco, SnapOn, and Mac are all shorter than the Capri 10mm. It may sound petty until you realize that the 10mm is likely the most used size in the set. I’ve had some really tight situations that I can’t use my Capri 10mm because its length prevents me from getting the correct angle on the fastener. I had to purchase a 10mm from the SnapOn rep and it worked where the Capri wouldn’t. It seems like such a simple thing for the factory to correct . Other than that the set gets the job done and I would recommend anyone trying to save money to consider them.
