Description
The Capri Tools Kontour™ Screwdrivers are forged from Chrome Molybdenum steel, the professionals’ choice steel. It provides the high tensile strength demanded by the professionals. Nonmagnetic black phosphate coated tips provide excellent gripping power and give you easier and more secure turns. The Kontour™ handle is shaped to fit the curvature of your hand, giving you a powerful and ultra-comfortable grip. The Kontour™ handle has a hybrid grip covered in alternating soft and hard layers, in a pattern designed to strike the perfect balance between high speed turning and high torque transfer. The hybrid grip gives you a sure grip while lets you quickly shift in between turns. Anti-roll design makes sure the screwdriver stays where you leave it and won’t roll away. Hanging hole at the top of the handle lets you use standard hooks for organization and storage. I picked up this 8-piece screwdriver set along with the 6 piece Torx driver set in the buy one get one free sale a few weeks ago. First off I absolutely love that Capri sells this product with the foam insert for your toolbox. Yes, it is an extra ten dollars however, there are screwdriver organizers that are way less efficient than this and cost way more. With this, I literally opened the box and laid the screwdrivers down in my toolbox right away. So by all means, spend the extra ten bucks and get the screwdriver with the foam insert for your box.
Ok, so the screwdrivers feel really nice in your hand. You know a tool’s quality when you get it in your hand and it simply “feels good”. The style of these comfort-grip handles feels similar to that of the Wera screwdrivers, not exactly the same but similar. Which is fine at this point there so many run of the mill screwdriver grips so its nice to have some variety. Now this price may cost a little more than the lowes and home depot sets, but these feel amazing and in particular when working in tighter spaces it feels way better when tightening and loosening a fastner. With the kontour grip you dont get that arthritis inducing feeling that you usally do with the standard big bulky rubber molded grip. I feel I could use these all day and not get tired of them, these are not your average screwdrivers. They alone are QUALITY, and the low profile foam tray to go with them only adds to the overall package. Again great job Capri Tools, high-quality tools at a mid-grade price.

I got this also with the free torx screwdriver set. I like the built quality and the way the screwdriver grip the screws. The handles are a bit smaller than I’m used to but I’m able to apply some torque to loosen and drive screws. The foam insert is awesome and a nice feature of the sets. The writing on the cap is a bit small but you should be able to identify them by their look. The free set helped with the buying decision and made it wife approved!!!

I ordered the 8 piece screwdriver set along with other tools from Capri Tools. I am very pleased with the quality and the way they store and look in my toolbox. I love how a lot of their tools come with foam tool liners; shipping is quick via Fedex; only takes a few days from CA to AL. I will be purchasing more tools from Capri Tools in the future!

I bought these to replace a tekton set that I wasn’t happy with the shape of. The tips also were disappointing and rounded with very little use. The capri fit my hand far better than I anticipated and the workmanship on the tips is excellent. 10/10
